The start of 2009 rang in a little quieter, and I was well of the mindset that I could go for a little more low-key. It was time to take steps to improve my life in Las Vegas, and vacation time was well on the “future plans” line-up.
Dale’s work was very impressive to me, and having collected a few paintings over the years, I aanted to try my hand at owning a sculpture. His work remains excellent:
I even got to meet Dale during the course of the evening. He’s a very personable and generous guy, and the quality of his personality matched his work. It was then I decided on getting one of his astrological clocks, and set up a plan to purchase it.
So with good things in hand on the horizon and in the moment, I found myself thinking life was pretty darn nifty.
But not “chainsaw car” nifty. Because few things in life can compare with that level.
